The Shack and its Aftermath
William Paul Young wrote, "The Shack" to his children, hoping it would give them a better picture of God. He first printed 15 copies at a local copy center thinking this was enough to share with family and friends. Ten years later, it has become one of the top selling books of the 21st century and was recently been made into a major motion picture. William Paul Young shares stories that have come about from the book, and how he had to change his own to even write the book.
Mackenzie Allen Phillips's youngest daughter, Missy, has been abducted during a family vacation, and evidence that she may have been brutally murdered is found in an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon wilderness. Four years later, in this midst of his great sadness, Mack receives a suspicious note, apparently from God, inviting him back to that shack for a weekend.
