Darryl "DMC" McDaniels (Founding member of Run-DMC) and Edgardo Miranda-Rodriguez, Editor in Chief, discuss their newest endeavor, DMC's own comic publishing house and an alt-history graphic novel series. In the first book, ""DMC #1"", the alternative New York City of 1985 is filled with the start of hip hop culture but also the same urban issues of the time. Vigilantes with powers come to ""clean up"" the city but unfortunately not for all. A new real hero arises that is really for the people, DMC. He is armed with super-powers of his own (and Adidas shoes) to fight injustice.
